چکیده

Introduction: Cataract is the leading cause of treatable blindness worldwide. Phacoemulsification with intraocular lens (IOL) implantation most common surgical procedure performed for treatment cataract. The diabetic cornea has decreased corneal endothelial cell density (CED) due to dysfunction and malfunctioning repair systems. Objective: To compare mean before after phacoemulsification in patients diabetes mellitus. Material Methods: A total number 30 who presented cataract extraction were included. Data regarding age, gender, duration mellitus side was collected. One day surgery, CED measured all using Specular Microscope. After 2 weeks again.
